Thank you to all for coming to the last meeting. I have attached a picture from it. Thank you Keita Kodama for the nice presentation. I have come to present the information regarding the meeting on May 8th from 2:00pm to 3:30pm. This presenter of the meeting will be our very own Takayuki ‘Taka’ Nagamine of Lancaster University. He will be providing an overview of his research within the theme of ‘the use of technology’. The format of this presentation will be in two parts with a break in the middle for refreshment and discussion. (っ＾▿＾)۶???٩(˘◡˘ )

In Part 1, he will touch on the use of technology in Phonetics and pronunciation research. In Part 2 will lead us to discuss the effectiveness of synchronous computer-mediated communication (SCMC) in developing L2 learners’ speaking skills. For further detailed information, please refer to the JALT Toyohashi website that will share more about what is included in each part in greater detail.

Location will be at our meeting place near Toyohashi Station at the Toyohashi Arts Theater ‘Plat’. The fee is free to attend. Additionally, if you are able, a lunch gathering will be from 12:30. Everyone can meet at Toyohashi Station ticket barrier (Meitetsu/JR Tokai). ( ◑‿◑)ɔ┏?–?┑٩(^◡^ )

On Sunday May 29th, from 1:30 to 4:00 pm with Mark Brierley. He will be presenting on extensive reading. The location of this meeting will be at Aichi University. More information and how to get to the location will be shared closer to the meeting time.ᕙ(`▿´)ᕗ
